Dr. Simaz grew up in Allegan, Michigan and is thrilled to be back by the Lakeshore, serving West Michigan. She graduated with honors both at Hillsdale College and Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine. This was followed by a three year surgical residency at Saint Joseph Health System in Mishawaka, Indiana. She is board qualified in foot surgery and a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the American and Michigan Podiatric Medical Associations.
Dr. Simaz enjoys the many facets of podiatric medicine, from conservative care to surgical intervention and wound care. As someone who has dreamed of being a doctor for as long as she can remember, she recognizes what an honor it is to have patients entrust her with their foot and ankle needs.
Dr. Simaz and her husband, Taylor, are blessed with two young children who keep them very busy. She loves to spend time with her family and friends, and enjoys being outside, running, reading, and bird hunting.
